Marek Hospitality and Scarborough and Rouge Hospital (SRH) are excited to welcome back guest Chef Yoshi Harrison Li for as he prepares a special sushi lunch menu at the Birchmount site cafeteria on Monday, January 30 from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
“Chef Yoshi was a guest chef at the General site cafeteria on December 9, and everyone enjoyed his fresh sushi so much that we have brought him back to provide another delicious lunch at the Birchmount site,” said Gord Shaw, Director of Retail Food Services for Marek Hospitality. Marek runs the cafeteria at the General site, as well as the Tim Hortons locations at the Birchmount and General sites.
Having learned to cook in Tokyo Japan, Chef Yoshi has enjoyed preparing food from scratch for over 30 years.
Hosting Chef Yoshi is part of the ‘Provincial Plate’ program launched this past fall by Marek to include more dishes made onsite with local ingredients into the weekly cafeteria menu.
Chef Yoshi’s lunch menu will include a variety of different sushi, sold by the piece.
The Birchmount site cafeteria is located on Level 2 of the hospital.
