Lakeridge Health (LH), Rouge Valley Health System (RVHS), and The Scarborough Hospital (TSH) invite you to join an interactive telephone town hall on November 9 in Scarborough. (A telephone town hall for Durham Region took place on November 7). The telephone town halls are part of the consultation process regarding the integrations of the Birchmount and General campuses of TSH with the Centenary site of RVHS and the Ajax and Pickering site of RVHS with LH.
If you are interested in participating, you can register for the telephone town halls by leaving your phone number at the website: www.ourhospitals.ca. If you pre-register, you will receive a phone call that will connect you to the telephone town hall conversation for which you have registered. If you are unable to register, automated calls will be made to residents who can then choose to stay on the line and participate in the call. This phone technology can accommodate tens of thousands of participants.
“Our hospitals are working closely together with a focus on improving health care and putting patients first,” said Andrée Robichaud, President and CEO, RVHS. “Telephone town halls give us the opportunity to hear from as many people as possible.”
“Throughout this process, we have remained committed to being open and transparent by engaging our community,” said Robert Biron, President and CEO, TSH.
“We encourage everyone to participate – because we value your views and input during this important opportunity in the history of our health care system,” said Tom McHugh, Interim President and CEO, LH.
