    Rouge Valley Health System (RVHS) and The Scarborough Hospital (TSH) publicly released a joint report today on the benefits and risks of a possible merger of the two hospital corporations that will be discussed by their boards of directors at public meetings on Tuesday, November 12.

    The report can be found at the Leading for Patients website at www.leadingforpatients.ca. The public are encouraged to provide comments on the report on the website.

    The Board meetings of the two hospitals are open to the public:

    The Scarborough Hospital
    November 12, 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. General campus, Auditorium 3050 Lawrence Avenue East

    Rouge Valley Health System
    November 12, 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. Centenary campus, Dr. Bruce Johnston Conference Room 2867 Ellesmere Road

    The hospitals will not comment on the report until after it has been reviewed at their respective Board meetings.
