If you’ve passed through the southeast corner of the General campus, between the Global Community Resource Centre and the cafeteria, you’ve likely noticed the stunning new heritage exhibit decorating the walls.
As we reflect on our legacy and the recent anniversaries celebrated at each campus, this historical timeline explores the spirit of TSH and brings our history to life using inspirational imagery and colour from floor to ceiling.
In viewing the new artwork, a common theme stands out: The Scarborough Hospital has been, and continues to be, an organization that is “leading for tomorrow” – which builds on the theme of this year’s Report to the Community, released in June.
Patients and visitors are encouraged to embark on this museum-like experience and visit this area of the hospital to learn more about our innovative past and imagine our shared future.
Final touches are being put on the exhibit this week, and a similar exhibit will be installed at the Birchmount campus the week of September 19, 2016.
