The Scarborough Hospital provides short-stay and observation beds for pediatric patients. The units are for patients with common childhood illnesses such as asthma, croup and gastroenteritis.

Sensitive to the need for community-based care for children and families, the hospital had developed a variety of outpatient programs to complement inpatient care.

Booking an appointment:

Most children are admitted to the Pediatric Unit through the Emergency Department or Pediatric Day Clinic. A referral is required from a physician on staff at TSH.
