Adult Out-Patient Program

TSH’s Mental Health Adult Out-patient program offers counselling and support for persons suffering from major psychiatric illness.

The program is managed by a team of mental health specialists and provides mental health assessments, short-term counselling and support to the community.

Services currently provided in our program include:

  • Mental health assessment and treatment
  • Individual counselling and supportive follow up
  • Brief treatment groups dealing with relationships and anxiety
  • Medication clinics for clients who require long-acting medication

The Adult Outpatient Program also provides services to assist individuals who are currently experiencing substance abuse or gambling difficulties. The goal of this program is to help individuals to understand how their problem behaviours affect their lives and identify different ways to handle these situations.

Through our Addictions Program these current services are available:

  • Individual Counselling
  • Brief Treatment Group
  • Problem Gambling Service
  • Needle Exchange/Harm Reduction

Our Trauma Program is a service for individuals who are experiencing difficulty after a trauma or serious life event.
Individual assessment, treatment and follow up are available.
