The Scarborough Hospital’s Cleft Lip & Palate Clinic provides leading treatment for patients who have facial deformities. Specifically, our clinic focuses on providing care and treatment for children who have cleft lip and/or cleft palate (roof of mouth). Assessments, treatments and follow-ups are done by a team of specialists including: 

• Plastic surgeon 
• Ear/nose/throat surgeon 
• Speech language therapist 
• Dentist (including orthodontist for correction of teeth) 
• Nurse 
• Child life specialist 

Charges may be incurred for dental or orthodontic appliances.
