The Clinical Day Unit (CDU) provides care for patients who need to be seen or treated in the hospital setting but do not require an in-patient admission or emergency care.
The CDU provides observation, nursing care and routine procedures for patients whose length of stay is less than 12 hours. Procedures and treatments performed include:

• Bone Marrow Aspiration/Biopsy
• Chemotherapy
• Consultations
• Dressing Change
• Exams
• Home IV Antibiotic Program
• IV Antibiotic
• Lumbar Puncture
• Paracentesis
• Pentamadine Aerosol
• Phlebotomy
• Sutures Removed
• Thoracentesis
• Emergency or Pre-Op Care

Preparation for:

• Angiogram
• CT Scan
• Discogram
• Gastroscopy
• Liver Biopsy
• Lung Biopsy
• Myelogram
• Sigmoidoscopy
• Ultrasound
