Himanshu is a Chartered Accountant who brings a wealth of experience in management consulting, financial and business analysis, risk management, internal controls and policy development. Himanshu’s company, H. Sudan and Company Inc., provides due diligence, financial assessment and program governance advice to various programs of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade and The Ministry of Research and Innovation of Ontario. These programs provide over $1.5 billion in funding to create jobs and foster innovation in Ontario. Himanshu’s management consulting expertise includes Risk Management and Internal controls with a focus on implementing Sarbanes-Oxley Legislation (SOX) for various public companies.

Himanshu has extensive experience in the financial and technology sector within CIBC, Bank of Montreal, IBM and Coopers & Lybrand. He was also Senior Accounting Policy Advisor to the Office of Superintendent of Financial Institutions (OSFI)

Himanshu’s Board affiliations include President of Bayview Community Services, Treasurer of Parkdale Community Legal Services and Treasurer of Streetlight Support Services.

Himanshu received his Bachelor of Commerce Degree at Delhi University, has been a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India since 1993 and a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario since 1997. Himanshu lived in the Scarborough community for 15 years.
