We all have people in our lives who we cherish: mothers, fathers, aunts, uncles, grandparents, children and special friends. The Scarborough Hospital Foundation provides many opportunities to pay tribute to these special people in your life.

While there are many ways that you can make a tribute gift, each tailored to your own personal wishes, two of our most common tribute gifts are for newborns or loved ones who have passed away.

In Memory
Gifts in memory of a loved one are acknowledged and reflect the interests of the donor or the loved one who has passed on. All tribute gifts are recognized in a tasteful and appropriate manner according to the level of the gift and the request of the donor and/or their family.

If you would like more information about making a tribute gift and special recognition opportunities and/or would like to speak with a representative from the Foundation, please contact The Scarborough Hospital Foundation at 416.431.8130 or foundation@tsh.to.

A Tribute Story
Dr. Paul Tam’s wife, Cecilia Tam, passed away on February 9, 2003. Dr. Tam is the Medical Director, Nephrology and Dialysis at The Scarborough Hospital. Many of Cecilia’s friends and family members generously donated more than $68,612 to The Scarborough Hospital Foundation. A special room in the Critical Care Unit in the new West Wing is named in her memory. This tribute to Mrs. Tam will benefit thousands of families in our community.
