TSH’s In-patient Mental Health Department provides a full range of mental health services to patients who require hospitalization due to psychiatric problems. 

Our multi-disciplinary team provides services within the two in-patient units and Psychiatric Intensive Observation Unit (PIOU).  Our recently expanded, newly renovated, bright and modern In-patient facility consists of 50 beds and our services include crisis intervention and short-term stabilization, Affective Disorder, Psychogeriatric, and Schizophrenia.  The 6-bed PIOU unit provides a safe, self-contained area where agitated and unstable patients can be stabilized before being integrated into the main unit. 

The treatment program consists of individual assessments and care planning, monitoring and counseling, with a full group therapy and activities schedule, and discharge planning.
