Michael Mueller is an accomplished executive with a record of success in shareholder value creation, both in Canada and internationally. Michael’s 25-year career includes multiple management positions in implementing growth strategies, developing world class partners and building top talent. Michael is a member of the Board of Directors of Public Service Pension Investment Board, AIM Therapeutics, Budco and the Katimavik Foundation, and also serves as strategic advisor to a number of Canadian, US and European companies. Michael has significant Board experience across multiple industries including health care, energy, transportation, infrastructure and private equity investing, public and private sectors, and experience chairing strategic, audit and human resource/compensation committees.

From 2003 until 2005, Michael was President and Chief Executive Officer of MDS Capital Corporation. Prior to that, Michael held a series of positions at TD Bank Financial Group, including Senior Vice President and Head of USA Division, Executive Vice President and Head of Global Credit, and Vice Chairman and Head of Global Investment Banking.

Michael is a former director of TM BioScience Inc., MDS Capital, the Canadian Medical Discoveries Fund I and II, the British Columbia Medical Innovations Fund, Medical Discoveries Management Corporation and Health Ventures Inc.

Michael holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Western Ontario and a Master of Business Administration Degree from York University.
