The Scarborough Hospital Oncology Clinic provides cancer care and treatment to Scarborough residents. Working in partnership with Cancer Care Ontario’s (CCO) Central East Regional Cancer Program, the clinic provides medical oncology consultation and systemic therapy (chemotherapy) treatment. The clinic meets or exceeds all CCO standards of practice and treatment guidelines. Five highly-trained medical oncologists and a team of specialty-trained oncology nurses provide high-quality care. Additionally, some patients who require consultation with a radiation oncologist may receive this service at The Scarborough Hospital.

The provision of oncology services at The Scarborough Hospital means that Scarborough residents, some of whom currently have to travel downtown for their care, can receive the same level of care close-to-home.

Oncology consults may be requested by completing and faxing the Scarborough Systemic Program Referral form to 416-431-8279.
