Pediatric Clinics

The Scarborough Hospital’s Pediatric Clinics see children who need medical attention from a paediatrician, often allowing the patient to avoid a trip to the Emergency Department. Children who have been discharged from the Pediatric Unit or Neonatal Intensive Care Unit but need to be seen for follow-up after an emergency department visit by a paediatrician are seen through the clinics, by referral.

Referals are required from the Emergency Department, inpatient unit, Family Maternity Centre, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, or a family physician.
