Physiotherapy services are provided to prevent and treat injury or disease by helping to restore and re-educate movement and function. At TSH, the goal of physiotherapy is to enhance the patient’s life through improved health and fitness, by encouraging patients to take charge of their health, and by teaching techniques for recovery, pain relief, injury prevention and improved physical movement. Physiotherapists are recognized experts in physical rehabilitation. 

Services provided in outpatient physiotherapy include: 

  • Musculoskeletal outpatient program 
  • Specialized plastics/hand program 
  • Prosthetics/Orthotics Clinic (Amputee Clinic) (General campus only) 
  • Vascular Clinic (for lymphedema and diseases of the blood vessels) (General campus only) 

Fees for this service may apply if any supplies or equipment are required.
