Katheeja Musatheek can really vouch for the great care in The Scarborough Hospital’s Maternal Newborn program.
On June 7, 2013, Katheeja’s third child was born at the General campus. It’s also her third time entrusting the safe delivery and care of her child and herself to TSH.
Her 12-year-old son and nine-year-old daughter were born at the General campus. And although Katheeja has always had an excellent care experience, it was the efforts of the care team for her latest addition – another boy – that really impressed her.
“I was induced on June 6, and even though it was a really busy day and all the rooms were full, Dr. Wilcock took the time to explain everything to me,” Katheeja said, speaking of TSH Chief of Obstetrics Dr. Georgina Wilcock who was present during her labour.
Katheeja was equally impressed with her nursing care.
“The nurse was there the whole time when I was in labor, helping me to the washroom, and cleaning me up after my water broke. And my nurse after the baby was born was also very good,” Katheeja explains.
“I would like to thank everyone for all of their kindness during my stay.”
