The Scarborough Hospital’s (TSH) President and CEO Robert Biron and TSH Board Director Alan T. Mak have been elected as Fellows of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario (CPA Ontario).
CPA Ontario elects members as Fellows, designated by the initials FCPA, to formally recognize those members who have rendered exceptional services to the profession, whose achievements in their careers and/or whose contributions in the community have earned them distinction and brought honour to the profession.
“We are extremely proud of Robert and Alan,” said TSH Board Chair Janet Dalicandro. “The FCPA designation is the accounting profession’s highest distinction and it’s an honour to have these individuals as part of our leadership team.”
Also elected a Fellow is Randall Oliphant, a former Board Director of The Scarborough Hospital Foundation and a strong supporter of TSH.
Fellows are nominated and elected by their peers in recognition of their outstanding accomplishments. Being among this year’s exceptional cohort of Fellows reflects these individuals’ breadth of talent, as well as how highly they are regarded by others in their field.
